Fat Sally's Pub & Restaurant

Meal was very generous and tasty. Rugby was playing on the big screen. It was rather busy but service was quick and staff were obliging. Recommend a visit when in Oamaru.

Big quality meals. Busy Tuesday night, good service. Would recommend. I had two entrees- calamari and the mushrooms & bacon.

Simply the best area has to offer. A great place for a family meal, catching up with mates or a romantic dinner. Excellent range of food, the chicken salad is gorgeous. The restaurant is modern, tidy and has a great team of friendly, helpful staff. There's a wide range of drinks on offer. Cold nights you can sit by the fire with a glass and have a great time with friends. I highly recommend Fat Sally's if your heading to Oamaru.

Loved the atmosphere and the building it was very cosy and not too badly priced for the centre of town, ample parking outside on street and service was very prompt. However, the food was overly salty to the point that I felt my tongue, being sodium restricted if anything is over salted I pick up really quickly. The following day I was bloated and swollen from the salt in the food. Would recommend for a quick pint after work but not for a celebratory sit-down feast like we had.

Nestled in one of the original Oamaru stone buildings this is a fantastic restaurant... the crunchy chicken salad is the best....paired with the 3 berry cider. The service was super friendly and very fast especially considering they were busy. Highly recommend.
