Blueberry Country Limited

many people today but there are heaps of blueberry to pick. Best thing is still the icecream, so good after spending hours in sun.

We go there every year for PYO blue berries. They grow wonderful crops. The cafe is nice too. The menu is so much of blue berries of course. It is a good idea to go early morning to pick then the cafe before lunch time to avoid busy time.

Lots of blueberries for picking, but there's often a really large crowd.

Waited for more than 60 minutes to get the blueberry ice cream and then when it was time to pick the blueberries, they closed the gate saying come back after one hour as there is no parking when in actual fact there were heaps of parking. Behind us were other cars lined up for blueberry picking only to be told after one hour that they are closed for the day at 3pm (on their website it mentions 5pm). The staff were very rude and had no mannerism. Such a waste of time to drive all the way there.

I used to come here at least once a year since 2010 and I really enjoyed the blueberry picking and to buy lots to get home. This year not just that they up the price and put a entry fee for adults and even kids but also they most likely sprayed the blueberries with some something so people will not eat too much while picking. All day yesterday and even today myself, husband and even my kids are very sick, diarrhea and vomiting. Now I have to throw more then 10 kg of blueberries and waste money and time to go to doctors and find what poison we took.
AND we were not the only ones complaining about this while there.
I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE ANYMORE AND ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL AVOID IT TOO. PLUS I'LL ALSO MAKE A COMPLAIN TO THE CONSUMER GUARANTEE.
