Bateman's Bakery

This is both my husband and myself favourite Main Street bakery, the smell of freshly made bread is very enticing and the great range of fresh food to choose from means we walk out with a lovely range of goodies

You can smell their delicious food as your walking through town! I come here for freshly baked bread , it’s so fresh & there is so many to choose from & they do free samples so you can try before you buy , it’s fantastic! They also do nice cakes :)

I am a big fan of a hearty mega grainy loaf of bread so buying items here is pure heaven for me. Always pleased with the large chunky loaves which fill me up. They have free samples on the counter too which usually results in me buying more than intended. Friendly staff.

this is a good shop to stop and pick up lunch with a great choice like the fact that they slice my bread for me

Amazing smells, the fresh bread selection is fantastic and tastes soo good. Selection of drinks in the cabinet. Beautiful slices too
