Highly recommend Avis New Plymouth for when you need a rental vehicle. Trusted brand name with awesome airport staff who were very helpful in assisting me with their products.

Renters beware! An additional $300 was charged to my credit card only to discover after numerous calls to branches and Head Office that the car was being repaired from "scratches".
I have never received any correspondence from Avis about the so called "scratches". It has now been over one month and the Manager still has not contacted me. Followed up again with the Head Office Claims Department who refused to help because New Plymouth is a franchise.
It has been over two months and numerous calls speaking to at least eight people who refuse to take ownership of this claim and provide me with photographic evidence.
This is a nightmare you do not want!!
