Probably the worst experience I have ever had at any shop! I took my watch in get looked at and repaired because it stop ticking due to an O ring coming off inside the face and wrapping around the hands until it stopped ticking. They called me up to say that they fixed the watch and that it just needed a new battery and pressure. As I came in to pick it up they said that, by the way the watch hand is out of line and needs a new mechanism, probably $200. As I took it home I realised that the watch was not only out of line, but it lost an hour every 24 hours, so completely unusable. Not only that but after an hour of use the hands seem to get jammed and stop working unless I piped the set button in and out. I went back the next day hoping the would refund of only $39. They refused to acknowledge they has missed diagnosed the issue and that they already had done the work and there was nothing they could do, then started complaining about the rise of minimum wage. Are you paying your watch repair people minimum wage? Pretty disappointing, at a small cost of $39 I would have thought that maybe they could refund half for at least doing a pressure test on a watch that didn't even need it, its like taking your car into a garage saying it’s low on oil and then they say it just needs to get an oil change and then telling you after they do the job, by the way their is a hole in your oil pan so the oil comes straight back out and you need to fix the engine, but we did useless work on a car you can’t use because we didn’t bother checking out the problem first and now you have to pay for our incompetence. I went into a jeweller rather than Mr. Mint expecting to get quality work. It's a shame, won't ever be coming back, and completely discourage anyone else from trusting the quality of their work if this is any indication of their business philosophy.
