Im a bit confused about the reviews below? The Boat Shed Cafe is one of Nelson's top cafes/restaurants and is perched on the side of Rocks Road giving a stunning vista of the ocean and Boulder Bank

Incredible veiws a beautiful place to dine it's been decorated to look stunning ans inviting and fresh it's clean and tidy ans the staff are friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy working here ans take great pride in giving you great service the muffins were fresh and soft the coffee and tea were hot and served in good sized mugs and the chips were crispy and had good salt the fish fresh with a nice herb batter a great experience in dining and would happily come back

After taking a hit over the previous summer from sea surge damage the Boat Shed cafe has had a lot to overcome. Great views overlooking the ocean and great dining experience. Worth making a booking ahead to ensure you get a good seat. Gorgeous at sunset.

The views are stunning over the water. I really enjoyed my time here, will visit again as is such a nice setting to sit down and have a meal. Will recommend this to friends and family. Has such yummy food and hard working staff.
