The food was excellent. Obviously it is a very popular place because as soon as it opened at 6 PM people star5ed flowing in... well worth a visit

Had a enjoyable meal... fresh and tasty. Just took a bit longer than expected. We ordered starters and then mains later..... would suggest order all at once. Otherwise would happily go back.

Yamato is the best Japanese Restaurant in Rotorua. You can watch the chefs cook everything right in front of you. Their only downfall is the wait time as they usually take quite a long time to get food out. However, once it does arrive it is definitely worth the wait.

Yamato situated in the heart of the city. Usually very busy; therefore, prior booking is recommended. Wide range of food and the stuffs were very nice and helpful.
