Ploughmans Restaurant

The food was quite good, it’s nicer to sit outside than in.

Great outdoor seating, beautiful on a nice Taupo Day. Lots of variety, including vegetarian options even though it is called Ploughmans. They play great music and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. I would have given them 5 stars, but the prices tend to be a wee bit high on some items.

Casual place to have a meal, food was well presented. Happy to come back

I have enjoyed a few meals here. The vegetarian option changes occasionally and I appreciate that it is usually beyond the stock standard pasta or rice main offered by most restaurants. I like the atmosphere and the prices are pretty good.

Awesome pub food. Great on a summers day to sit outside. Decent pizzas. Short walk to the lake front. Great location.
