Lone Star in Northlands is just really great for dining. Nice atmosphere, usually promptly served at the bar, and even if service to table is a bit slow it's often excellent and the food is great. Nice selection of drinks on offer. Food is reasonably priced as well.

The prawn and rice dish is very delicious! The milky bar pudding is a tad too sweet. Service in the restaurant itself leaves some to be desired.

My fave Lone Star location by a long shot! Spacious restaurant with fab food, great atmosphere and heaps of relics from the old building that was demolished after the earthquakes. One of my go-to restaurants on a night out

Really good food, I had the steak and really enjoyed it, the meal was huge but the salad that was ordered was with no anchovies, and it had anchovies and the lady who was looking after us didn't know the menu and specials too well, but overall good birthday meal out

Large meals and always really good. Service pretty good here and always have to get a desert, they are so good!
