Grand Hotel Rotorua

Great location, walking distance to most things including isite. Continental breakfast available, and reception was really helpful in organising tours and transport to sights not accessible by public transport.

We stayed in a family room here with my family. The rooms were beautifully set out. The beds were nice and big, even better they were very comfy. They had nice big comfy robes in the closet and slippers. The atmosphere of the hotel was very relaxing and peaceful. We had a delicious continental breakfast in the morning and the waitress was very friendly and polite. Beautifully designed eating area with a nice calm feel.

Friendly, affordable and quality

We stayed here for nearly a week. The room was clean, comfortable. Breakfast provided added to the value for money. For those unfamiliar with rotorua, this location is great - central, close to shops, isite, buses, food places (busy and popular little takeaway place a 2 min walk away). And the staff here are just great - very helpful, very knowledgeable. We had sites and trips in mind with no idea how to get there (don't assume everything is accessible by public transport) - the lovely lady at reception found out where we were headed just during casual convo, and since we didn't have our transport, helped us arrange transport for the day
