Situated in the centre of the Garden City, the 100-year-old Heritage Christchurch building is one of the few heritage-listed building remaining in Christchurch. Enjoy the elegance of the turn-of-the-century Old Government Building with its sweeping grand staircase, original stained glass windows and its old world charm. Just a short distance from the Botanic Gardens and Re:START Mall, the hotel is located behind the Christchurch Cathedral. This suite-only accommodation has one, two and three bedroom suites which are fully self-contained apartments. Daily breakfast is available in Maddison¿s Restaurant and there is an extensive health club, heated indoor lap pool, spa pool and sauna.

Stayed for one night at the Heritage this weekend past, what a wonderful find this was. Beautiful suites, lovingly restored with great attention to detail. The internal features are really quite stunning, the building feels like a genuine window into the past.
Friendly and helpful staff made for such an easy stay. The location also could not have been better, room was lovely and warm and offered every convenience you could need. Only minor blip was super-slow wi-fi.
However, i'm happily giving 5 stars and would love to stay again.

Amazing place to stay. We had our conference here and it was the perfect location for it. We had plenty of space, lots of water to drink and the food supplied was of high quality.
