1/2 Price Cabs Limited

Called up to receive a quote and the fare ended up being double that, even with the half price discount that they have on all fares. Didnt end up being any cheaper than other taxi companys. Taxi driver was really nice and chatty though.

The fare was double the price of other taxi company’s.
So the same price as others once it was halved....

No such thing as half prize. Their fares end up being more expensive than other companies. Total rip off.

Dishonest and overpriced: We were driven the same route as we had previously taken with combined taxis and found that it came out 1.5 times as expensive. 1/2 price cabs charged more in the first place, had an Eftpos surcharge and then sneakily added another Eftpos surcharge on top of that. We will never use these taxis again and recommend that you don't either.

This is a total con - my usual taxi fare using Combined taxis is $17 - 1/2 price tried to charge me $30 when i chalkenged the driver he ssid -oops forgot the discount - totally dishonest business practise
