Hobbiton Movie Set Tours

found it a bit boring as i have never been into this kind of thing but the kids wanted to go. Very expensive so not affordable for all. if i was a fan it would have been ideal. everyone else loved it thats why it has a 5 star

Great outing. When we went it wasn't too packed. Got to tour all the hidey holes and sets. I even had a Hobbiton cake made for my hubby's birthday. Great NZ place to see.

Great tour on a sunny day. The guide was knowledgeable and interacting with the group and joking with us. We saw all parts of the movie and had great opportunity for photos. At the end enjoyed a drink and had a relaxing fee minutes exploring ourselves. Price is expensive though and could be reduced slightly.

I don't like the moving set very much because compare to its price it should be have much more to see.

Time in hobbiton was enough to roam around and take pictures. It was not rushed. We were there at 9am so only 2 groups touring around so we got good pictures at our own pace. Our tour guide is a film professor so he gave us important points in making movies and set design in relation to hobbiton. Food in cafe of hobbiton was yummy.
Glowworm Caves was magnificent. The maori tour guide was very thorough and entertaining.
Our driver and guide, Tyler, was entertaining, funny and helpful. Our group had a great time.
