I remember going to the Kauri Museum, on a school trip, many years ago, but it's changed a lot since then. It's really large now and incorporates a lot more exhibits featuring New Zealand's logging history. The kauri gum on display is still as impressive. There's a nice cafe as well, which rounds off a lovely day. Take your family and friends there. They have one of the largest Kauri gum exhibitions on show.
