Really worth the visit, surprisingly large when you get inside. Its amazing to see all of the different industries that used to operate out of Petone/ Lower Hutt.

A cute little settlers museum. Lovely educators, nice building on the waterfront, only downside is a wee walk to the toilet facilities. Worth a stop off!

Such a cute museum, with lots to look at the kids enjoyed it too. There are display rooms in 2 separate areas one on either side of the entrance. They have just done the place up and re opened and the staff are lovely and informative. Heaps of cool information and photos about local areas. I highly recommend visiting here and then walking along the esplanade.
