Won't say the service was horrible but there clearly isn't a lot of urgency in this business. Took knives into be engraved early afternoon ( a very simple job I might add) and asked if I could collect them late afternoon the next day as I needed them for the next morning. I asked him to call me if he wasn't able to get them done. When I walked in late afternoon he was sitting at his computer..:.and said aww sorry I didn't have time to get to them. There seemed to be a great lack of urgency in this business, I asked if I could bring them by Thursday afternoon and would they be ready by Monday...a very vague reply of "probably". While the people were nice I went out of my way to use this business as it is locally owned but the owner clearly doesn't have the urgency to complete jobs for smaller customers...in a timely manner. Won't go out of my way to use this business again.

Did utmost best to have goods ready within a pressing time frame. Very much appreciated the effort to accommodate us. Many Thanks

Bitterly disappointed. Claims to be at the top of his field on his website. .. took a design and specific requirements in to him. 3 months later pops out something that a 10 year old could have done with a spoon, unbelievable, then tells me "not everyting cam be his best work" I'm afraid as a paying customer everything should be his best work.
His then had to make right, then has a cheek to tell me he doesn't think he can do the job.
Tread very very carefully unless it's a very simple engraving job. .. Then again if it's very simple... find someone else.

Our sporting club uses Peter Campbell as their preferred engraver and I travel some distance to get the trophies done here - the team are nice but the wait is lengthy and unfortunately we have had to return and item to be corrected. They aren't great at meeting timeframes either and I've had to get the staff from the back room more than once.
