Chomp N Chips

I had great fish and chips here, I like the way they cut their chips and the fish was very fresh, their opening times don’t seem to be too consistent so it’s hard to tell when their shop is open, but their food was quite enjoyable.

Good for what it is & awesome to have gluten free options with a separate fryer. However, gluten free food only available at certain times so call first. Also, contrary to the menu, they do not offer gluten free crumb (just batter) or gf hot dogs. They aren't at all apologetic about their selection differing from the posted menu online/in store and don't seem to be doing anything to change it. Still.. I'm Coeliac & have eaten here at least once a week for the last month with no probs so will definitely keep going back.

nice fresh fish fast service and the chips are always hot and well salted a great place to stop and get something to eat

I really like their selection of fish. The battered fish is chunky and fresh unlike most fish n chips in Wellington where its mostly batter. The handcut chips were also good and 1 scoop is enough for 2 people.
