After arriving from a 45 minute drive from masterton.have a cold beer meal or snack.theres plenty of accommodation from a double room with views of the ocean/or a cabin out the back/numerous sizes.they cater it all with an off licence so you can take that bottle an stroll down the beach.theres even a beach horse racing event most years.

Great kiwi pub situated not far from Castlepoint beach. The pub offers a great range of beers on tap. The food is good and they do takeaways. It’s clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable on the area.. There is a lovely beer garden which is great for the kids as there is plenty of space to run around.

Three star very nice place. Castlepoint is stunning but be extremely careful on the rocks - others have died there with such a violent force of waves.
