Coopers Catch Fish n' Chips & Burgers

This place seems to serve up just about everything a chip shop should and more besides. We had the special of blue cod bits and chips. Excellent. Pleasant staff too.

Called in here to grab a quick bite before we left town and what a lovely place. The food was really good and the fish tasted so fresh. The kids who at times can be the fussiest of food critics thought it was great.

This is a great place for some nice fresh seafood. It all tasted great and kept everyone happy. There were polite staff and a nice clean shop

Well you have to have fish and chips in Kaikoura, yet my husband does not like fish, so we go to Coopers Catch, hungry, very busy, lose half a point because of the drunk young people, not your fault, handled well, but a little off putting, but being Friday night, bigger crowd around, anyway got the fish and got the burger, Hawaiian, got the cheesy chips and the onion rings, Well where do you start , the burger, hubby said the best ever burger he has had. The onion rings were to die for, they were sweet and larger than life, huge, and just melted in your mouth , the cheesy chips cannot rate them they stayed in the paper, oh and the other half ordered a spring roll, all for $23.60, could have feed four people not two, well done, excellent and we will be back, oh sorry we were back, lol gave up our cooked meal at our unit for one more burger, and onion rings, omg, just as good and second time around. Great fish and chip shop, always ready pretty quickly when you order ahead on your drive through Kaikoura! Bit on the pricier side but good value for money!
