Coopers Catch Fish n' Chips & Burgers

Well you have to have fish and chips in Kaikoura, yet my husband does not like fish, so we go to Coopers Catch, hungry, very busy, lose half a point because of the drunk young people, not your fault, handled well, but a little off putting, but being Friday night, bigger crowd around, anyway got the fish and got the burger, Hawaiian, got the cheesy chips and the onion rings, Well where do you start , the burger, hubby said the best ever burger he has had. The onion rings were to die for, they were sweet and larger than life, huge, and just melted in your mouth , the cheesy chips cannot rate them they stayed in the paper, oh and the other half ordered a spring roll, all for $23.60, could have feed four people not two, well done, excellent and we will be back, oh sorry we were back, lol gave up our cooked meal at our unit for one more burger, and onion rings, omg, just as good and second time around. This is a great place for some nice fresh seafood. It all tasted great and kept everyone happy. There were polite staff and a nice clean shop

Delicious fish and chips, nice and fresh, and affordable too. If you don't mind seagulls it's very nice to eat outside or takeaway. Small but wait for food wasn't very long. Felt like a very classic NZ Fish n chip shop.

We stopped in for tea last night on our way home from Hamner Springs. Very yummy fish and chips. Donuts were crisp and delicious. They were quite busy and we expected to have to wait but we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes. So a great fast meal.
