A lovely little museum chronicling the history Lyttleton

This is a cool little museum with lots to see and learn about the local area and shipping and boats over the years in NZ.

Friendly staff with lots of exhibits to see and a really good gift shop makes this a good place to visit. Free parking is outside the building.

Was given a tour around Canterbury museum with a class group. Was a good experience. The tour guide seemed friendly and knowledgeable. Great Egyptian Mummy exhibit.
