Havelock Town Café & Takeaways

Great decision! They were fantastic! The battered cod was super hot, crispy, and so tender and tasty. The chips were very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Huge portions.

I have been trying lots of different places from Dunedin to Havelock, and the fish and chips from havelock Takeaways is the best so far! A beautiful piece of blue cod and great chips. All freshly cooked.

We always pop in on our way out from the Sounds. A good range of food. Very 80's decor and food range, but reasonable value and always clean and tidy. Wait times can be very long.

Best chips I've ever had. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The Blue Cod is pricey but good. The pieces of Blue Cod are larger and more filling than they appear, so you won't need more than one. Especially with all the chips you should get.
