The food was absolutely delicious and the portions huge. The hotel has no airs and graces, but is very charming in its own way.

I had the silver fern farms angus filet steak. It was absolutely delicious. Steak was very tender. The Puhoi aged blue cheese sauce accompanied it very well. Atmosphere was great and service fantastic

We were given a table immediately. I ordered the chowder, which was delicious, creamy and with lots of seafood and vegetables. I enjoyed it with a beer. The waitress checked we were enjoying our food. Thoroughly recommended.

Friendly service and great prices. Open until late as well which is always a bonus if you want a few games of pool.
