Love visiting the pools. Great place to spend the day with family and friends. Either for a day trip or making a weekend of it

Love this place alot, because my son loves it! Wish I can stay longer for the hot pool!

Very relaxing. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Onsite cafes have some good platters options. Great family friendly venue.

Can't rate this place highly enough! Prices are incredible value with the slides for the family, there are things to suit all ages including the toddlers. Onsite cafe has delicious choices and very well priced. Rock pools give so many options and look stunning, lazy river is awesome, slides are fun for adults and kids! Love it.

I absolutely loved my time here - the staff were very friendly (especially one of the staff in the gift shop, who was immensely helpful and pleasant), the changing/bathroom facilities were clean and spacious - could have done with better ventilation since it was quite stuffy in there, but they provided a machine for extracting water from swimsuits which I've never seen before and thought was a fantastic idea. The pools themselves were lovely; when I heard about the lazy river I imagined one a bit longer, such as at Splash Planet, but other than that there were plenty of pools and space to enjoy them, they offered a nice photography service as well which my partner and I actually purchased, even though I don't normally go for things like that.
Only downside was that the café within the complex - Tea Kiosk - was just abysmal. Rude staff, bad selection of food that was expensive and looked unappetising. My friend had some chicken nuggets that were grey and tasted odd, and was sick the next day. Unfortunately I can't seem to review them separately from the Hanmer Springs complex, so I don't want to detract from the overall rating, but I wanted to include this in my review regardless.
Overall, an absolutely wonderful day, definitely the highlight of my trip to Canterbury.
