Moeraki Boulders Cafe & Bar

After spending some time on the beach enjoying the Moeraki Boulders, we stopped for a snack at the Moeraki Boulders Cafe. It was a warm day, so we ate our gourmet sandwiches outside. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the views of the ocean were spectacular. All in all, it was a satisfying stop.

Menu meals are great value and really well presented. The location is also excellent with amazing views out to see and down to Moeraki township. Well worth the visit. It also has an excellent gift shop. Overall would recommend a visit to the boulders and the restaurant.

Seafood chowder is a must have here. The views are fantastic while eating out. The atmosphere is very touristy with the boulders just below but very friendly. Coffee is good too.

A great place to see the boulders and have a break. This is a nice place to eat and drink after walking along the beach. There is ample parking space and lovely surroundings. Come and enjoy!

A very spacious café and the food was really good - the portion size will not leave you hungry that's for sure. Ideal for a pre or post visit to the beach to see the boulders.
