Quite a small museum however it has a huge amount of interesting things about nz history and a beautiful Waka on display. Exhibitions that feature are always new and interesting. The staff are lovely and there is no charge to enter. Parking can be a bit hard but there is parking available close to museum

The Waikato Museum has well presented and interesting historical displays. It also has some great art exhibitions. They stage a diverse range of events like live concerts and interesting talks. Parking is easy, behind the Artpost. It is a shame that it no longer has a cafe.

This is a bit of a hidden treasure. I was really surprised at the quality exhibitions they had when I took my family there for a christmas concert. We didn't have time to go through all of it, so I will have to come back and make a day of it. Loved it!
