Excellent zoo with lots of viewing and learning opportunites for kids. Well laid out and has a great amount of shade.

We take our daughter to the zoo a few times yech year and absolutely love it. Took her a few weeks back and it was no different. Love visiting the animals, it is a perfect day out, beautiful walk too and the chips at the cafe are super yum!

I always leave zoos feeling a little sad and sorry for the animals that are not in their natural habitats so it wasn't really for me. My travel buddy however loved every minute and we spent quite some time there so he could take it all in an.

I love Hamilton zoo and so to my kids. It is free entry for children under 2 and I think that is awesome
