Excellent zoo with lots of viewing and learning opportunites for kids. Well laid out and has a great amount of shade.

In my books this is Hamilton’s send best attraction after Hamilton gardens. Went there last month I was so surprised with the amount of animals they had and was very impressed with the enclosures that the animals are staying in, it really shows they care about the welfare of the animals

The Hamilton Zoo has a good range of animals and the enclosures mostly look good. The animals look well kept. The walk is just right and my 4 year old grandson copes with it just fine. It could be a little cheaper.

Its such a great zoo and also a great venue for a nice big walk. Its really cool being able to see where the chimps sleep and play inside and its awesome being able to walk through the native bird part, if you're lucky you can get quite up close to the birds!
