Hamilton Zoo

Great Zoo to visit, animals looked well cared for, lots of space to walk around. kids had lots of fun.

Lovely zoo plenty of animals to look at you can easy spend a day here.

We have been here a few times, the park is clean and easy to get around with the children but we have never been able to see all of the animals. The monkeys are always on show but it would be nice to see the tigers and rhinos as well

I find that the hamilton zoo is more intimate than the auckland one. Not as big, but its great because you dont spend all day walking around looking at all the attractions and animals. Plenty of stops and seats around the zoo to rest them legs, and a good cafe onsite but it is a tad expensive.
