Not as large as the Auckland zoo but still require a full day out if taking your time to get around to each area. The giraffe enclosure was one of our favourite spots to visit.

Loved taking the family to Hamilton Zoo and enjoyed seeing the Fishing Cat and the Southern South Rhino, plus the face to face with the rhino was very cool.

Really great place to visit. Very clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Perfect p[lace for family picnic too.

I love Hamilton zoo it is large spacious and has a some amazing animals here post op my children especially love the African enclosure
