Daikoku Restaurant

Fantastic location located in the heart of Hamilton, even if it means that there will be a short stroll to the restaurant. Modern dining area, well ventilated. Love the cheap set lunch menu, you get a soup, a a salad, some rice and meat with desert. Dinner time is a bit pricey

For a small town like Hamilton, it is rather surprising how many Japanese restaurants there are! I was even more surprised to have them run by Japanese people and serve rather decent food. Daikoku is one such example. It has the Teppanyaki tables and the accompanying theatrics which is still entertaining. The serving is huge too.

Located on the side of Centre Place in Hamilton. It has a lively, fun environment with the cooks cooking in front of you and performing tricks with eggs and onions. While it is on the pricey side you get a good portion of meat and seafood (or both if you want), with sides of salad, rice, and soup.

Awesome service, but price is a little on the dearer side. Food is great but no thing too special.
