Paul Smiler is a great Physio. He is professional and thorough, while at the same time friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend anyone to contact him for his services.

A few months ago I got injured at work, and my knee was badly torn up. I went to another physio first, and they proved to be utterly useless. When I mentioned this to my GP, he put me on to Paul at Body Rehab. I thought it would be worth trying - since it couldn't be any worse than the last one - and I am glad I took the gamble.

The first session started off with a casual chat, during which my case notes were quietly filled out without me feeling like I was being grilled or judged. Then a physical exam of the injured knee was done - very detailed without being invasive or overly-uncomfortable. (It's hard not to cause some discomfort when testing an injured joint - the full range of movement has to be checked, and that's going to ping things.

Since then, I have been back many times, received great advice on how to preserve the joint while I await the specialist appointment, and always with a calm, friendly attitude.

This business is run from his home, which is down a right-of-way, so don't expect great parking. There are a few spots - enough for maybe 3-4 cars, but you would be well advised to park on the road and walk the 50m to the door if you can manage it.
