This was the first place I stayed at when moving to Hamilton, while looking for a rental. It offered a really good price and the shared kitchen/living area was well equipped, but I'm lowering my rating as the bed was quite uncomfortable and the room was very dark and claustrophobic. There was also a lot of threatening signage prohibiting alcohol and setting off the fire alarm that was unsettling.

Great little backpackers. Facilities are basic as expected of a backpackers, but very clean and well maintained. Free car parking out the back is a bonus being so close to town. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Simply the best accommodation, best service, clean tidy at reasonable prices excellent free car parking, close to to free bus service. 10 min walk to town
