Halfmoon Bay School

All the school children sang, danced and performed at the opening ceremony for the Norsk Feiring weekend commemorating the Declaration of the first Marine Archaeological site at the Whalers' Base at Prices Inlet, Paterson Inlet, Rakiura (Stewart Island). They performed admirably and enthusiastically with great merit. Well done to the staff who encouraged the children. Their performance was supported by a wonderful array of projects about the Whalers' Base and associated historical events. Well done all.
