Argyle Apartments: Rakiura Stewart Island’s newest accommodation - opened in 2021. Conveniently situated in the township, our apartments are spacious and sparkling clean with spectacular views of Halfmoon Bay.Each apartment consists of a large open-plan living area featuring a comfy couch & well-appointed kitchen with all the mod cons; two bedrooms, a bathroom, and deck with sweeping views across the bay.All the conveniences of the township are within walking distance:7-minute stroll from the ferry;5-minute meander to the Pub (6-7 minutes back, depending on how many pints you enjoyed…)1 minute to the closest walking track (Fuchsia Track connects to a network of beautiful day-walks in and around Halfmoon Bay)Extremely clean and modern interior featuring local artwork and thoughtful details. Your hosts have done plenty of travelling themselves and created this space with your comfort and convenience in mind.Kai Kart, food truck, cafes, shop, playground, beach, DOC Visitor Centre, and eBike depot are all a few minutes’ walk from your doorstep. Or just relax on the large deck and go nowhere… enjoy the glowing skies of the sunrise; watch the fishing boats and listen to the birds.
