      The A-frames have everything you need and the cooked breakfast is really delicious! There are lots of walks or overnight tramps nearby and if you do the nature walk (which is really close) at night then there are a few glowworms around.

      Absolutely lovely staff and incredible food, sad they are closed until tourists come back but will definitely be going when they open again.

      Makarora is a hidden gem! Aframes and cabins are clean and tidy. The views are stunning and love listening to the birds. Refreshing to unplug from the world and still be able to get WiFi at the restaurant. Food at the restaurant is delicious and is a great for a few drinks in the evening.
