Been here lots very nice cosy place food is good too

We often come here for the weekly pub quiz on Mondays. Compared to other quizzes, especially nearby ones, this is one of the best. Starts at a decent time, doesn't waste too much time and allows us to get out on time. The food selection is also pretty good here, and costs about as much as most other pubs.

They make an amazing drunken steak. Got the fries changed for mash and it was heavenly.

Delicious food and cosy atmosphere, although it can get very loud at times. I also feel like the seats are too close together in such a small room. The waiting time varies from 20-40 mins in my experience which I believe they could work on but all together I do enjoy this restaurant.

A standard Speights Ale House, with the typical menu (bar the Whitebait fritters). Being between the Flood wall, and the railway station, the outside view is not great, and the food was okay. I got the Whitebait, and found them to be okay, but have had nicer before. All in all, it was nothing amazing, but could of been much worse.
