Ray Wright Landscape Architect

I recently employed Ray to undertake landscaping work at my home. The work was not done well and I have stopped work and given the job to another firm.

Here are a few of the things that Ray did that weren't of a reasonable standard:

The plan he drew up was of the areas to be worked on but it didn't include any of the design elements that I had asked for. These were only ever shown in a rough sketch that he made.

He spread cooch grass weed all through my topsoil that was to be made into garden beds, which means that this has to be got rid of and new topsoil brought in.

He attempted to lay paving but was incompetent at it. He didn't know how to level the ground properly, how to prepare the base for the pavers. The pavers were laid unevenly.

He failed to make me the circular seat I asked him to build around my patio feature tree. I stopped work when I saw that he had made it in a weird non circular shape , not level and also in a totally different design from what I had agreed to.
