Rialto Cinemas

Good range of current movies. I do find the ticket admission a bit pricey.

Always good customer service, rarely overcrowded and comfortable seating. The price is affordable, especially for students and they offer a good range of films that I can't view at the other cinemas in town.

Although design is a bit dated as compared to Reading, but the cinemas here are larger in both seating capacities and screen sizes. Seats are fabric covered, and comfortable enough, and is less packed. The movie screenings are also slightly different, so one would definitely notice a slightly different audience being catered to. If you do frequent this movie house, be sure to join the Cinebuzz club as you get one free movie for every six watched.

A great use of the historic St James (?) theatre building and when this opened it was nice to have some competition for Hoyts and push ticket prices down a little. Initially offered a greater range of non 'Hollywood' films but it feels like this has relaxed slightly in recent times. First theatre in Dunedin to offer beer and wine.

Rialto cinemas is timeless. The staff are always well trained, the cinemas are always tidy and comfortable. the small documentary cinemas are nice and cosy. Price hasn't changed much over the past few years either which is good
