This place is an amazing mix of affordability and excellent food. I particularly love sitting at the bar and watching the food be cooked. I've had someone describe their style as "It's like Japanese Tapas" and I think that's not too bad of a description. You get to try all sorts of goodies and the bill at the end is never a shock, especially considering how satisfied you usually are. Definitely a favourite eatery in Dunedin.

Very much in style of the small off-street eating houses in every Japanese city and town. The food was also very authentic - well prepared, simple tasty and inexpensive. Highly recommended for casual dining.
