Awesome food great atmosphere and a good choice of traditional dishes. Could do with a bit more variety of saké. Godd pricing and quick service.

This is the best authentic Japanese in Dunedin. Very cool little place. The food is amazing and you definitly get your value for money.

My family and I just walked in your restaurant a few minutes ago. As I entered I asked a female waitress if there is a table available for 5 people. And she glared at me and answered with disgusted tone " Can you close the door!" and then she rolled her eyes at me. I know it is cold outside and she was talking with another customer but she could have just ushered us in so we can ask at the counter. We have eaten here and at minami heaps of times and my family and I were so shocked on how she treated us. The staff are always nice and accommodating at your restaurant and her behaviour towards us was just appalling. We will now think twice or more if we are going to eat at your restaurants again.

Good place. Really good food. the staff was really friendly and helpful. The pork belly was good. Would come again and would recommend.

The staff here aren't the nicest. But the food is very affordable and delicious. Its great o be able to order many smaller items and have a selection.
