Friendly Khmer Satay Noodle House

The satay noodle house is really cheap and extra yum! They have a really great range of takeaway and dine in foods. The ladies who work there are soooo lovely and the atmosphere is nice. I love their satay burgers, which are $5! You can't really find much cheaper in Dunedin. They have options for vegetarians too. They will swap out chicken for tofu! Highly recommended!

If you don't have much time, don't want to spend too much, but want a really tasty meal then this is the perfect inner city location! I often head here for my lunch break. The prices are great, and the food is amazing. All of the rice and noodle dishes I have tried are great. My personal favourite is the green curry chicken fried rice. Delicious!
The restaurant itself doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that put you off :)

Ordered the supreme pork satay and upon first bite was I blown away! The satay flavor was exquisite, sweet savory and smooth all at once, and meat was tender yet chewy and the vegetables easy to munch through. The rice was also soft and cooked well, and the ratio of sauce to rice was perfect! I ate everything on my plate and was very satisfied. For the price, this dish is definitely worth it!!
