This company takes incompetence to new levels of uselessness. A parcel that was supposed to be picked up ten days ago still hasn't. We've had phone calls & emails saying "it will be picked up tomorrow " & then nothing. Now they just ignore us when we try to contact them. This company deserves an award for "worst courier company in NZ ".

Yet another fail by the Dunedin franchise of Aramex Couriers (formerly Fastway)

Last year there was a fiasco in which they repeatedly failed to pick up an item, and then once they had done so left it sitting in their depot. When I enquired the staff member lied to me, claiming that not only did they not have it, but also that they'd never picked it up. The tracking number I'd been given had not been entered into their system, which resulted in me biting the bullet and sending a replacement item via Courier Post. Three days after Aramex claiming that they had never collected my parcel they delivered the same parcel to the recipient. (The replacement item arrived the next day, and the recipient sent it back to me.)

In January this year Aramex delivered a set of DVDs I'd bought on Trade Me. The wrapping was torn off, and the case smashed. They hadn't even bothered to put a bit of tape on it. Fortunately the actual DVDs survived.

Today another parcel arrived; I'd been monitoring it's progress through Aramex's website, and saw that it was listed as being delivered at early this morning. There was nothing in my letterbox, but my past experience prompted me to look around. It turned up in the letterbox for an adjacent building that is empty and undergoing renovation. If I'd not had the previous experience of their incompetence I would have instead wasted more time on futile enquiries at their depot.

I strongly advise avoiding giving business to these utterly useless tossers.

Don't have fast delivery, need to work on honesty

Staff are genuine and have always managed to resolve issues promptly.
