Countdown Supermarkets

Though somewhat of a small store I always find its quite a pleasant place to shop. The staff are always friendly and helpful and it's usually not too busy.

Great smaller grocery store, has most of the every day essentials and usually friendly helpful staff. The checkout queue can sometimes take a while though.

Great for picking up a few items and avoiding the pick supermarkets. Not as big a variety but has everything you need.

Smaller Countdown, with less selection, but often quieter than the other Countdown on Andersons Bay Road. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Being one of the smaller Countdown supermarkets in Dunedin means it carries a limited range of products. Surprisingly they have decent amount of parking spaces; there are actually parking on either side of the building. They are right across the road from petrol station which is convenient if you’re looking for a quick shop and refuel when you’re in the area.
