Countdown Supermarkets

Smaller countdown but still have good selection of good deal. There’s 2 entrance for this countdown. One from Timaru St and one from Teviot St. Free fruit for kids are usually only located on the Timaru St entrance. Plenty of Car parks.

This is where Woolworths used to be and it seems pretty much the same. I don't use it very often as I live across town but I would if I lived around the corner. It is pretty decent.

Not too bad for a smaller supermarket and though its not able to carry the same product range as alot of larger ones naturally. it's still handy when you need somewhere not as crowded to quickly run in and grab a few things. The staff are friendly and helpful . I do find though that the everyday prices at countdown tend to be a bit more expensive though than at other supermarkets.

Great smaller grocery store, has most of the every day essentials and usually friendly helpful staff. The checkout queue can sometimes take a while though.

The layout is ridiculous, quality of there breads and deli is very poor. I will not be going back.
