Carrick Winery & Restaurant

Personally I thought it was a fairly small amount if food, but then maybe it was because it was so nice I ate too quickly. This place has to be recommended.

The setting is beautiful, the food first-rate and the staff really lovely. We both had the venison and it was magnificent. Served with vegetables which were full of flavour. The passionfruit panna cotta was delicious. The pinot rose was outstanding, as was their syrah. The wines looked magnificent in the sunlight. A wonderful lunch for Father's Day

We shared three starters of very fine food for lunch. The beef broth was an absolute standout. Huge depth of flavor.

The view across the lake and valley also makes it worth adding to your list of must see wineries while in Central.

Really enjoyed our brief lunch visit. Service was excellent. Shared three entree dishes. Chicken liver pate excellent. Beef broth was memorable. Packed with flavour and tiny tiny mushrooms!

Great cellar door to visit in Bannock Burn. Has a restaurant that has great food and cheese boards to enjoy while at your wine tasting. The wines are very nice, one of the top vineyards in Bannockburn.
