General Info

The Hereford 'n' a Pickle supplies MEAT, VEGES, FRUIT, EGGS, FRESH FOOD, COFFEE, REAL FRUIT ICECREAM & CONDIMENTS. The meat and produce is directly from our family farm which is farmed as naturally as possible. We process all our meat on site (once returned to us from the abbotoir) including our much loved sausages made from an old family recipe. In our farm shop you will find fresh sandwiches, cakes, slices, muffins, biscuits, a selection of homemade jams, pickles, chutneys and sauces and also honey. Enjoy a coffee and cake or a refreshing fruit icecream in our garden seating area or picnic area.

A great concept. I dont eat meat but they had great food for non-meat eaters. Homemade biscuits wee great. The atmosphere was just a bit new and ordinary but everything was very clean.

Get the toasted corned beef and pickle toasted sandwhich. Then buy a jar of pickle before leaving! There is other food available too but buy local!

We have been to this cafe for lunch and had an amazing experience. The staff is very polite and friendly. Melas and coffee were so delicious and we really enjoyed the dessert.

Always have trouble deciding which slice to have - they all look so good! Iced chocolates are great and can't beat the wedges - just what you need when needing a break from camping food.

A quaint general store feeling to it and lots of lovely food options. Lots of comfort foods that are quite filling.
