Delicious food, great variety. Lots of dishes able to be shared. Great flavours. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Not the same once they moved from their Ilam road location.
The menu is similar (some changes), but the chef is obviously not the same.
It's a shame they lost the real authentic taste.
Used to love going there, but will probably not go as often in the future.
The service and venue is amazing though.

Nice restaurant, pretty pricey though. The food was good but a little bland, dessert was pretty nice. Service was very good.

The Bodhi Tree is a rare gem. It is a brilliant Burmese restaurant in Christchurch. That in itself is unusual. The only place you can find Burmese restaurants in New Zealand is in Christchurch. In general, Christchurch doesn’t do very well with ethnic eateries (I lived there for 7 years and visit at least once every year). The Bodhi Tree is different, intriguing and most of all, delicious.

The food was amazing. Very different from Thai food with very particular mix of spices. The tea salad is particularly good a must try. The lamb was succulent.Nice dish, tastes fabulous, great portions. Will be back.Highly recommended.
