Gustav's Kitchen & Wine Bar

We started with a shared entree board - mini yorkshire puddings stuffed with tender beef & gravy, goats cheese soufflé with blueberry sauce and caramelised beetroot. All delicious.

Best steak I have ever had! It was cooked to perfection, and you can see the people cooking it for you! This definitely is a fine dining experience. Only down side is mains don't come with sides so be prepared to spend a little more than normal. With food this good though it's so worth it!

The atmosphere was very good, I felt the decor a little thin, but the view to the hills, the open kitchen easily compensated. I had the beef rib roast, it was huge & magic, the horse radish (we think) was fabulous. The pop corn creme brûlée was very good. Love the beer except they were out of exactly what I wanted , the price of popularity I suppose. All up, great night, not overly expensive, excellent food, brilliant service happy man.

It's an open concept kitchen where diners are able to watch the chef in action. The feel of like eating in a traditional homey style. We had our and risotto which both are great. The service is beyond expectation.

Went for a late lunch and ordered the mushrooms off their wine bar menu. They came overly charred with burnt bread. The chevre was delicious but the mushrooms were super greasy that I couldn't finish them. Anyway, I felt very ill later from the grease.
