Welcome to The Garden Restaurant - we are a buffet restaurant that provides delicious Asian and local favourite meals in the heart of Christchurch City. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, we are part of the Garden Hotel Complex and can also provide breakfast for those staying in the hotel. Our menu soups, fried food, international cuisine, seafood and carvery - but what we are really known for are our mouth-watering desserts! Yummy food, heaps of choices. One of the best buffets I've been to, staff were super nice and helpful. Has a few vegetarian options and a large selection of meat and seafood. They even have an ice cream machine so great for the kids

Food great if fresh. But some is very bland , need more range in deserts .

Food was good. Range of foods from starters to cheeses.
The plates are very small so several return trips to smorgasbord.
I personally would have preferred easier access to cutlery nearer tables

A good selection of food to choose from. Food is nice and hot and taste good. Staff are friendly and come and collect your plates offen. The place was warm, clean and tidy.
